Brook trout trophy fishing
Fed by two streams up north, Lake Manitou empties into the Manitou River, which widens to form Lakes Canot, Brezel and Eudistes. These lakes are home to giant brook trout and Québec red trout weighing 1 kg (2 pounds) on average. Few fishermen leave Mabec without being part of the "5 pounds + Club"!
The secret? Huge lakes that are fed by several streams and rivers; but also our team of professional guides who know their way on the waters and always lead you to the right place at the right time, thus ensuring excellent fishing. Whether you're a fan of trolling, spooning fishing, spinning fishing or fly fishing, you'll be successful and, who knows, maybe you'll even catch a "trophy".

Meals
Breakfast: served in the dining room every morning at 7 a.m. or later if requested.
Lunch: considering the distance between the camp and fishing areas, the cook prepares a lunch in the morning before each fishing trip. If you prefer having lunch at the camp please inform the cook.
Dinner: served every evening in the dining room at 7 p.m.

Cabins
At Lake Eudistes, a Mabec Outfitters watchman ensures the security of guests and respect for camp rules. Each guest is responsible for the cleaning and tidying up of their cabin prior to their departure. This allows the next group of guests to settle in a clean and pleasant environment.
When cleaning fish we ask you to put your waste in a pail then empty it in the lake furthest away from the camp. This method is safe for the environment and it avoids attracting bears or other animals around the cabins.
